Day of the Dead Course for 4th through 8th Grades

The time of year has come for my annual Dia de los Muertos programming. I'll admit that it is certainly one of my favorites because it allows me the opportunity to reflect back on my childhood and the beloved family members who loved and raised me, but have now passed away. How dearly I love those people and I treasure the memories.

Over the years I've compiled numerous resources - in both English and Spanish - for families and educators to introduce the holiday to their children. This year, I'm super pleased to share that I have put together an online class. It is FULL of information including crafts and activities, a recipe, app recommendations, printables, videos, quizzes, and more.

Although it is designed for children in 4th through 8th grades, the content can be adjusted for younger and older students. It's an awesome introductory course for adults, too.

This online class begins today October 13th and runs through November 7th. You can sign up here at any time during this period, download your introductory pages, and then I'll send you an invitation to access the course within 24 hours.

I've created the class through Versal, a new online course creator. It offers both free (public) and private courses by educators across the country. Be sure to look through their catalog and learn about some of the other awesome courses available.
