CID's creative founder, Rebecca Peragine, asked me if I would consider sharing information about a new program she has launched: the One Mother to Another Initiative. The program supports grassroots cooperatives of women in Mexico and Haiti by purchasing their handmade goods.
In the spirit of compassion and love, and in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, this mami wants to share their story with you. Below is a short video about the initiative that Rebecca has put together. I hope you'll take a moment to watch.
Con mucho cariño...
What a beautiful video! I was truly touched by the stories of different women. It's true-- I'm not a mother, but every fiber of my being is there because of my Mami, and I would be nobody without her!
